The essential elements of the GSA technology consist of glulam, epoxy resin and steel. Glued-in threaded rods facilitate the high-performance joining of softwood or hardwood components. GSA technology guarantees all of the three criteria essential for solid statics (rigidity, load resistance and ductile properties).
For engineers, this means swift scaling of the efficiency factor. Rigidity calculations can be based on the gross wood values. In most practical cases, this results in sufficient approximation.
